Silica is a compound, also called silicon dioxide, it is found in nature, its symbol is SiO₂.

Silicone is a polymer with various industrial applications, the seal around your bath is silicone.

Silica or silicon dioxide is the only form we use at G&G, there are natural sources, like bamboo or horsetail, which contain silica or it can be manufactured and used as an additive to prevent powders sticking and clumping.
