Minerals are provided, in dietary supplements, as salts or compounds that are approved forms for food use. Each compound will contain a different amount of the specific mineral, this is called the elemental weight (as minerals are elements).
The elemental weights are usually shown in Access as the purity figure, this allows you to calculate how much of a mineral goes in a capsule.
Sometimes you might get asked if there is another product with a higher amount of a specific mineral. A chart has been created and is linked below, which shows all the elemental weights of all the available forms.
