Anything at or above 1178mg of Glucosamine (base) is deemed a pharmacological dose, food supplements would therefore have to be lower.

- 1100mg Glucosamine (base) …which is equivalent to:
- 1400mg Glucosamine Sulphate,
- 1325mg Glucosamine HCl, or
